About Goldendoodles
Doodles get their name
from their mixed heritage. We specialize in the Goldendoodle (Golden Retriever + Poodle) and the Cavapoo (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel + Poodle). The original purpose of this combination was to develop intelligent service and therapy dogs suitable for visually impaired individuals with pet allergies. And as Goldendoodle and Cavapoo breeders, many of our Goldendoodle and Cavapoo puppies have become service and therapy dogs as well as emotional support dogs.
Perfect Companions
Most of our puppies are adopted as pets and family companions. Because we breed dogs that have the health, intelligence, and temperament required for service work and therapy dogs, they are easy to train and incredibly friendly. If you're looking for a guard dog, you've come to the wrong place. Our parent dog bloodlines are specifically selected for their longevity and complete lack of aggression.
Celebrity Designer Dogs
Goldendoodles and Cavapoos are sometimes called 'Designer Dogs' — a term coined when breeders began to cross purebred Poodles with other pure-bred dogs to create pets with the non-shedding coat of a Poodle and the desirable character traits and from other breeds. We raise our puppies in California, an hour from Hollywood (without traffic), so they are called upon as puppy models and employed as animal actors from time to time.
The Types of Doodle hybrids
F1 Generation
- 50% Poodle / 50% Retriever or 50% Cavalier X 50% Poodle
- Some will shed a little to none, others a bit more, but nothing like a purebred Retriever or Cavalier
- Allergy Friendly
F1b Generation
- F1 Doodle X Poodle (75% Poodle / 25% Retriever or Cavalier)
- Most F1B's Are Non-Shedders
- The Most Allergy Friendly
F2 Generation
- F1 Doodle X F1 Doodle (50% Poodle / 50% Cavalier or Retriever)
- Some will shed a little to none, others a bit more, but nothing like a Golden Retriever
F2b Generation
- F1 Doodle X F1b Doodle (62.5% Poodle / 37.5% Cavalier or Retriever)
- The Most Curly Ones Usually Do Not Shed (Like An F1b)
- Straighter ones will shed like an F1
F3 Generation (Multigen)
- F1b Doodle X F1b Doodle (75% Poodle / 25% Cavalier or Retriever)
- The Most Curly Ones Usually Do Not Shed (Like an F1b)

More about f1b Doodles
Personality
F1b Doodles have more poodle-like bodies and are typically taller than their F1 cousins. They are highly intelligent, loyal and have wonderful temperaments. They are also known for their sense of humor!
F1b Doodles shed least of all
F1b Doodles shed little to none due to more of the Poodle influence. F1b Doodles are compatible with people who have mild to severe pet allergies. Their coats are usually wavy or curly, and once in a while, straight.
